Challenge for Robin and anyone else that would like to try this:
I haven't done this with Notebook files and would like to see if it is possible. I embedded my Powerpoint slide show below.
Try to embed your Smartboard Notebook files into this wiki.
Open the file that you showed us, Robin, or any Notebook file you have saved
Export the file as a PPT file (powerpoint)look under File, save the file
Go to Slideshare and create an account
Upload the powerpoint file to Slideshare
Once it has loaded, when you click to play it, look for the embed code near the video.
Place the embedded Notebook Powerpoint under here.
To edit this page the key is SHSD
To embed - Click edit - key:shsd - you will be in the text editor
Click on the Insert Plugin button
Click the video button
Choose YouTube video - you will then paste the embed code into the box, next, and save. Try it!
Okay. Here is my attempt.
So thrilled that it worked. Of course, you can't manipulate the necessary components because it's no longer a smartboard feature, but you could make a video of it on Smartboard and share it that way. Neat.
Thanks Robin, I am glad that you were able to embed your smartboard files. I will pass that on to other Smartboard users.
